I Know What It Feels
Like to Shrink.
Hello,
I am Kala Lanier.
Identified Daugher (I.D.) is personal to me because I know what it feels like to question who you are, to shrink yourself, and to allow fear, comparison, or the opinions of others to make you second-guess what God placed inside of you. I.D. was born from my own journey of allowing God to remind me that my identity was never meant to be found in a title, an accomplishment, or someone else’s approval, it is found in Him.
As I continue becoming the woman God has called me to be, my desire is to create a space where other women can do the same. A space to grow, heal, be challenged, and confidently walk in their God-given identity. I’m not building I.D. because I have everything figured out; I’m building it because I’ve decided I will no longer shrink, and that I want to bring other women along with me.
